a kid in holland: Westerbork
http://akidinholland.blogspot.com/2008/06/westerbork.html
A kid in holland. Sunday, June 15, 2008. After the war, Westerbork was used as a refugee camp for Dutch and Indonesians, as well as immigrants from the South Moluccan Islands to Holland. It was demolished in the 1970s. Today some barracks have been partially reconstructed. Some original buildings remain: the commander's house, a storage building, and a guard tower. Several monuments have also been erected. This engraved Jerusalem stone was donated by Israeli President Chaim Herzog in 1993.

A kid in holland. Sunday, May 25, 2008. I built myself a new house. Here's me enjoying the porch. My neighbour is a bug. Monday, May 19, 2008. What happened to Guess Who? Apparently the version we knew and loved no longer exists, having been replaced by a more 'politically correct' (i.e. racially diverse) version where all the characters look much more cartoonish. Tuesday, May 13, 2008. This movie came out in 2006 but it must have slipped past me (or Canada? Just wanted to share. Wednesday, May 7, 2008.
