Let the floating fun begin…. It’s OFFICIAL, Baby Manatee Spotted by Take-Out Dock →. 2012 Summer Tubing Season IS Under Way. June 12, 2012. Expect slower floating times (without paddling) as the river is the lowest it has been since 1992 and the current is not as fast as last year. As always, the year round 72 degree water is a great relief to summer’s heat. I have updated the Today’s Trash Menu above and have added a couple videos about sunscreens to the Viable Solutions Menu. Let the floating fun begin...

It’s OFFICIAL, Baby Manatee Spotted by Take-Out Dock. July 10, 2013. Late yesterday (9th) I spotted a baby manatee down from Take-Out dock, so I imagine the river will be inhabited tonight by some of the other 11 manatees that frequent us when they can, during floods as the river continues to rise.
