If we talk about Italy we cannot skip the most famous symbol of my country: pizza! We talked about the origins of pizza and the recipe.and of course we baked pizza! Directly from Venice, a group of happy gondoliers came to dance in our patio for the end of the school party. My 6th grade students broke free once again and painted some great pieces of art. I was impressed by how fast they could catch up with this painting technique and get some really good results. My 5th grade students danced and sang the popular song Jambo Bwana in Swahili. How come? For 5 minutes we felt like being in Africa at the bottom of the Kilimanjaro.
