Uncharted Waters: May 2009
http://hubtuck.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Gardening is hard work! Goat manure in the Subaru! My first 2 days off of school, I have spent doing manual labor! It sure has been enjoyable though having the time to work on my hobby :-) I got advice from a friend and looked on the internet and built a raised garden bed on Monday and then filled it with dirt yesterday! Most of you know though, that we don't have a truck, but a Subaru Outback, and I didn't want the hassle of borrowing a truck, so I thought, hey, it's an older car, and it's an Outback!

New Website: www.jamietucker.net. New website: www.jamietucker.net. I have a new website with current work from the photo project "Chinglish" that I shot when I was in China last year. All the work was shot with 120 medium format film, with a Holga and Diana camera. They are all Silver Gelatin Prints which I printed myself in the darkroom. I am applying for shows and trying to land some exhibition opportunities. If you have any leads, let me know! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our students were fabulous!

Uncharted Waters: Spring is here!
http://hubtuck.blogspot.com/2010/03/spring-is-here.html
Brian is making faces at me. Winter has been here for awhile, obviously not much was posted during that time! It felt like winter to be sure. It seems almost like a dark cloud is lifting with the sun returning. My crocus's are blooming and Brian is out riding his Harley. Spring break is one week away, and I'll be starting my garden seeds indoors. Praise God for season changes. Hope you all out there are doing well. Please write and fill me in on your lives. Going Green for God. Out of the Mouths of Babes. March 8, 2009. Posted by Justin Farr in Ramblings. This morning I finally understood more fully what Christ meant when He said, “Be like little children.”. I told Mama that I already woke her up, so she instructs me to ask Daria how she feels. 8220;Daria, how do you feel? 8221; I ask. 8220;I feel bad,” she pouts, and looks up at me with a frown and eyelids yearning to close again. Do you want to go to church? I wanna go to Sunday school! March 8, 2009.

Going Green for God. Thoughts on the New Year – God in 2009. January 2, 2009. Posted by Justin Farr in The Journey. Not Glory to God for the things that make me happy! Instead we proclaim, Glory to God for ALL things! A new year has dawned. Resolutions litter our minds as 2009 is heralded by parties and booze. But why? All of this is nothing. Where will the parties get us? Where will these New Year’s resolutions propel us? What about New Year’s resolutions? Should I not set some goals for myself? So here...

The Most Important Day of My Life | God is love.

Going Green for God. The Most Important Day of My Life. April 11, 2009. Posted by Justin Farr in The Journey. By means of Lazarus has Christ already plundered you, O death. Where is your victory, O Hades? For the lament of Bethany is handed over now to you. Let us all wave against it our branches of victory. Today was the most important day of my life. Today, I was received into God’s Holy Church. Today, I was baptized in Christ and put on Christ. Today, I felt loved. Where does time go? I stood by my go...

Lighting Candles to Pray for Light. Kyriaki's ramblings and musings. The green thing in the bottom right is actually a frog, not an octopus…it’ll get there! The bottom section is all checkerboard squares in green and cream and isn’t anywhere near finished yet, but it will be. And I got three eggs from the chickens today🙂. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Picturing Faith Photography Exhibition. John Collier Jr., Grandfather Romero, NM, 1930s, FSA photograph. Last night I gave an 8 minute speech in the largest auditorium that I have ever had to stand up in. I hardly remember actually speaking, it was very surreal! After all the research and planning, it ended up being fun and exciting to learn about this part in American History and Photography. I guess I should tell you a little about it! Dorthea Lange, Migrant Mother, 1938, FSA photograph. I didn't think...
