Ειδικότερα εξειδικεύεται σε θέματα χάραξης οδών και κόμβων, χωματουργικών εργασιών έργων οδοποιίας, μελέτης οδοστρωμάτων, υλικών οδοστρωσίας και ασφαλτικών υλικών, συντήρησης οδών, διαχείρισης έργων οδοποιίας, οδική ασφάλεια, μελέτης αεροδρομίων, σιδηροδρομικής και περιβάλλοντος. Το Εργαστήριο Οδοποιίας ιδρύθηκε το 1990 με το ΠΔ 317/13.9.90-ΦΕΚ 130/27.9.90.
