St Imre Vineyard (Helpx blog). Saturday, March 28, 2009. Shed building is coming along well. The roof is going on. I can see the day nearing when my future living room will be cleaned of all the woodworking workshop equipment, bits-end-pieces of timber, wood shavings and the ever present, blanketing-all sawdust. :-). Eddy went for a walk down to the wharf and took a few nice pics. Walking up the hill. Picking blackberries we met a nice couple bushwalking on the Tasmanian Trail. And ends on the neighbour's.

St Imre Vineyard (Helpx blog). Saturday, June 27, 2009. It's gloomy out there again today. But if you look the other way, the Sun peaks out from behind the clouds. Andras and Bianka took off the netting. Some are in their bags already but some are still waiting for the rain to stop. We had another 45 mm, the ground is saturated now, the old drain is gushing from under the vines. And the ponds are overflowing. Inside work time :-). It is my very first new car I ever owned, that's because it has a name, ju...

It will be influenced by the response you'll give me. We will be mentioned in another wine guide (I'll tell you about it when it comes out) and one of the question was: what makes you different from the competitors? Jan cleaned the windows last week. It is a big job :-) we have soooo many of them. The swallows hatched their chicks.

St Imre Vineyard (Helpx blog). Friday, November 27, 2009. Just other busy days. Dear visitors, you can come in. We are open to tastings, despite the upheaval of all this activity around the new house and the cellardoor :-). The lounge room is taking shape :-) The boys finished the ceiling. And the base of the floor. In the garden the garlics and onions are growing. And the potatoes finally are in the ground. My very first tomato is nearly ready to pick! The grapes are on the brink of opening the flowers.

St Imre Vineyard (Helpx blog). Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Eszter ask to see the Herd :-). Here they are, the 12 of them. They are doing well this winter, there is enough food to graze but they are getting "biscuits" too :-) They love to eat the hay when it is cold. When they hear the ute coming, we get a few mooo-s signaling that they see us and they are THINKING :-). It takes a few minutes to process the information :-) then everybody come running down the hill. Peter, the young bull. And the last baby,.
