In simple terms we hope that technology will allow pupils to work better, faster, neater etc. in whatever subject we are teaching, but how can producing a PowerPoint slideshow help improve their grades at GCSE? The answer is of course that it can't - at least not on its own. Pupils having the chance to use technology in the same way professionals in the field would.
