Friday, October 31, 2008. 1 Cereal Killer (my costume - mini-cereal boxes with plastic knives cut through them, taped all over my clothes);. 2 Darth Vader (Jaydn; well, Darth Vader with a big orange Jack-o-Lantern to put his candy in);. 3 Hot chick (Jessi; no costume, just her normal self);. 4 Obi Wan Kenobi (Jaydn's friend and sidekick trick-or-treater);. 5 About 50 cars (the size of our hugely ridiculous ward trunk-or-treat);. 6 A ghost (our car's very original costume);. Monday, February 23, 2009. It's tough to take an eight-year-old to Las Vegas. I mean, there is so much smut that it's hard to tell him where to look. "Look straight ahead, Jaydn." "No, don't look ahead, look over there." Las Vegas really lives up to its nickname. We did have fun, however. There are some cool free things there. Food is not one of them. I am an attorney in Idaho Falls, my wife teaches piano, gardens, and does just about everything else, and Jaydn is the best boy you could ever wish for.
