My favorite place in Idaho is Silver Creek Nature Preserve. 15 minutes from our house, every time we go there was see a wonderful array of creatures. This last time we clocked up a Sandhill Crane, 2 moose, 3 deer, a muskrat and countless beautiful birds and ducks, including a Great Blue Heron, a Red Tailed Hawk and a Northern Harrier. So, it was Memorial Day Weekend out in Idaho - and traditionally the time it is somewhat safe to plant your veggie garden (although last year we had snow in August.). So I spent most of the weekend digging and planting - with lots of help from Owen, who loved to use a trowel. You have been busy.looks like I have some catching up to do in my garden!
