Saturday, July 19, 2008. Nearing the Five Month Mark. The Fourth of July onesie from Grandma Hemberger. He started the day with matching stars and stripes socks, but it was a bit warm in the sun. We went to the annual Brown family picnic on Diamond Lake. We had a bit of a photo shoot this morning. He looks so different in this shot. My mom took this awesome picture of Fredrik this week. Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Visit from Jeanne and Bud. We had a nice visit from Peter's grandparents Jeanne and Bud Carlson this week. They drove up from Des Moines to meet Fredrik. They thought he was quite adorable and quite strong for his age. We had a tasty dining experience at Peter's on Lake Ripley in Litchfield where we traded off walking around with Fredrik. Thursday, January 22, 2009. I guess I can finally admit that Fredrik is a walker! Two nights ago he walked from the far side of the living room to my studio/art room.about 15 feet. He had been making little teetering steps, one or two between his little chairs and "walker" toys (not a walker, but a walk-behind deal with wheels) but now it's official. Pretty darn adorable. Wednesday, April 23, 2008. The Ergo Baby Carrier has Arrived. I recently splurged on this because the three of us planted potatoes, peas, green onions, radishes, and some other stuff on Sunday and he didn't enjoy sitting in the stroller unless it was moving and my other slings and carriers didn't work so great.
