Biking in Halifax, Nova Scotia: January 2005
http://hfxbike.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
Biking in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Monday, January 31, 2005. Ride home for Monday 31 Jan. No ride in today as the bike was on the back of the car to be taken to the bike shop. Bike was fixed with a bunch of new spokes for $10 straight away - one of the benefits of cycling in winter is there's always someone at the local bike shop with time to fix problems! Distance logged: 13.648km. Average speed: 16.4km/hr. Max speed: 66.4km/hr (probably a misreading). Temperature: -8C to -12C. Sunday, January 30, 2005.

http://www.stevedinn.com/2010
Previously located on spine.cx, this is now my primary personal blog. Monday, August 30, 2010. Big Day Downtown (Part IV): MEC, Just Us, and Freak Lunchbox. Going into my last. Big Day Downtown, I had $66.75. Coming out, I am left with a single cent that I am afraid I will be unable to spend. Even if I could find something that only cost a penny, I doubt I could buy it with a Visa gift card. Let's run down the day's purchases :). Stop 1: Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC). And a 14L waterproof stuff sack.
