Monday, May 4, 2015. I helped plan the one and only Sadie Hawkins dance of my high school career. The attire: matching flannel shirts and western wear (I wore birks 'cause I didn't have any boots.). Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Flying geese for simon. Finishing" this quilt in December meant that I managed to get the top done and I could wrap it up for my sister in law. S baby shower as a partially finished gift. Later that month, baby Simon was born. The next few months were slow due to machine tension glitches. Oh the glitches! You can find a recipe for any dish ever created, or instructions on how to roast garlic, which you can (and will) use in a ton of recipes. Your husband can find instructions for how to install a better horn in the car he bought recently, which came with a really goofy, wimpy-sounding horn. Because he is terrible with names.and faces. Yeah, it's really handy.

A l i c e k [i] n d. December 03, 2013. Thanksgiving weekend was busy and fun but I'm notorious for forgetting to take photos. darn it. My brother, Peter, and his wife and kids stayed at our house. our first house guests! It was fun to have them. Our Thanksgiving feast was amazing, of course, with too many pies. I didn't think that possible, but apparently I was wrong. But I'm super excited for them! They will be serving as missionaries in southern England for 12 months. But there were none to be found!

Wednesday, January 30, 2013. I'm not sure I'm ready to run on Saturday! This past Saturday I ran ten miles in a downpour (see photo) and my calves got so sore! I don't understand why the week before I ran 9 miles with no soreness afterward at all! Anyway, hopefully the soreness will abate in time. August 25, 2011. These cute girls had a dance recital. Ella the ballerina and Avery my tap dancer. Avery keeps asking "when can i go on the stage again? We relaxed at Nana and Papa's cabin. Had tons of fun at the beach with LOTS. I love this beach baby. Then One very special boy who I really love got baptized. I'm so proud of my Davis and how excited he was to be baptized. It was a special day for our family. There was a lot of swimming, it really is the only way to survive the summer around here.
