How brains and birds become mutually exclusive
Ornithological Idiocy: June 2008
http://idiocybirding.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, 19 June 2008. Im going out for a while to get high with my friends. The second day of my Scots fling was the one i'd been dreading as I'd been told many times about how hard Can bahn mor is to climb. Its not! It was tiring and cloudy but me and Marcus made a slow and steady trip up to one of the shorter munro's interspersed with loads of shortbread action and very few birds. Dotterel pic is by Marcus C. S supposed to be a goer. Still nada (apparently the water level is too high at Loch Vaa ...
Ornithological Idiocy: October 2008
http://idiocybirding.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Friday, 31 October 2008. Managed to see the rather smart Subalpine Warbler at Bempton this pm. Only got there at half 3 so views were tricky. Managed to stand under a tree with 5 wawings in, here em but not see em. Oh well! Wednesday, 29 October 2008. Monday, 27 October 2008. North Cave Wetlands - Major Twitch. Sunday, 26 October 2008. A few pints were had in various drinking holes in Cambridge followed by a visit to Tommy Tuckers - a genius fast food place, half chippy, half kebab house. Magic. This mor...
Ornithological Idiocy: January 2009
http://idiocybirding.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Friday, 30 January 2009. Wax on, Wax off. Wednesday, 28 January 2009. Voulez vous couche avec moi c'est soir? Must be a tricky bird for the Hull Valley recording area I imagine - I'll have to start another list! Tuesday, 27 January 2009. Not the greatest picture but shows the distinguishing features (or how i photoshopped em on ;) . A few Snipe were a self found year tick. Boy am i glad to have banished the crazyness of Robin stroking - and i thought twitching was extreme. Monday, 26 January 2009. I have...
Ornithological Idiocy: March 2008
http://idiocybirding.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 19 March 2008. New Scope. New Hope. Took delivery of my new scope - an opticron HR 66 45R with an 18-54x lens yesterday. Obviously I wanted to go test it out so off i toddled. Unfortunately it turned up later than I hoped so I stayed local, Noth Duffield Carrs followed by Wheldrake Ings. Some crap photos will be added asap! At Wheldrake things never really got going, a mammal tick in the form of Roe Deer bolting across the Ings was as good as it got. The gulls didn't come in until late on,...
Ornithological Idiocy: A Family Trip to Millington Dale
http://idiocybirding.blogspot.com/2015/05/a-family-trip-to-millington-dale.html
Saturday, 16 May 2015. A Family Trip to Millington Dale. A fortnight ago I took ma famille for a walk in East Yorkshire's most extensive tract of ancient woodland at Millington Pastures. The girls hadn't seen Bluebells before and the valley sides were plastered in Ransoms, Wood Anemones, Water Arum and Primroses. There were plentiful Brimstones, Peacocks and Large Whites flying over the flowers in an eery atmosphere. The girls loved it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Am I A Bird? At last, a bird!

In A Sentence .org. The best little site that helps you understand word usage with examples. Idiocy in a sentence. I just wish I could downmod such stark. Is directly proportional to ignorance. In this comment, the author mistakes irony for. DRM pushed into the video interfaces is sheer. Lies with the producers, not the sellers. A comment of stark. In other countries this. Would not have taken place to begin with. How are links to respected science journals hysterical, scare mongering,.

Ornithological Idiocy
Thursday, 29 March 2018. Australia Trip Report: Part 1. A Cold Welsh Hillside. The start of the journey. My sleep addled brain found this to be the most interesting part of Abu Dhabi Airport. A steady flight out to Abu Dhabi contained a couple of superhero films and little else. Arriving at the airport in darkness I waited around the gate after a coffee pep up scanning for birds. Obviously the first ones were Feral Pigeon. And then Ring-necked Parakeet. Were messing about along with Little Pied Cormorant.

Idiocy Happens
Comments about whatever idiocy happens to be happening today! Wednesday, August 25, 2010. In response to "Immigrants are opportunity". In response to Daron Christopher's letter "Immigrants are opportunity" (May 14 and TribLIVE.com): The proposed Pennsylvania legislation that he criticizes, like its Arizona cousin, is not anti- immigrant; it is anti-illegal immigrant! When will you people have the intellectual honesty to acknowledge that this measure and measures like it are to address a specific problem?

The Idiocy that is Me. Saturday, March 27, 2010. Megan, I think you are the only person who reads this blog, so I wanted to wish you a happy and belated birthday. Will be calling you anyway, but it is now late and I can't call tonight. I hope you had a wonderful day, spent with your favorite fiance. You are lovely and smart and sweet and I feel very lucky to have you for a friend. Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Junior high kids no doubt. Wouldn't be suprised if my own nephew was somehow involved :).
