This island is a good choice for:. One of the twins - Trafalgar Falls. View from Scotts Head. Sulphur gas coming from the rivers. On the northern part of the island, Indian river is an interesting site to visit. Rowers take small groups or couples on their boats to the middle of the rainforest, where a bar waited for them to offer killer rum punch. On our way, we were shown some of the location sets from the Pirates of the Caribbean, they were even spookier in real life than in the movie!

Antigua - The Beach Is Just The Beginning
http://carib.idoestravel.com/antigua
This island is a good choice for:. Antigua was our first stop on the 30-day long Caribbean trip. As we had a cheap flight there, didn’t mind staying a couple of days to visit the island and its neighbour, Barbuda. The beaches on Antigua were famous among the other islands, but there was a lot more you could do there than just sunbathing. Cocos Beach near St. John's. All in all, Antigua was a beautiful island with lots to do, and with some of the friendliest locals in the area. The island still had so...

Curaçao - Life Is Just Better At The Beach
http://carib.idoestravel.com/curacao
This island is a good choice for:. Floating Market in Willemstad. Fortunately, Curaçao proved us wrong, as it turned out to be one of the most unique islands we’d visited. Willemstad itself was not a large capital, but a very cultural one. The architecture varied between the famously colourful Dutch houses and the Spanish influenced colonial buildings. Look, a house! In the garden of the Kura Hulanda Hotel. Larger and interesting formations always had a story accompanied. Zanzibar however, which was even...

Nevis - Naturally
http://carib.idoestravel.com/nevis
This island is a good choice for:. The quieter, cleaner little brother of St. Kitts, Nevis was a good pick to rest a day or two before exploring the Carribean further. The life on Nevis was a lot slower than on St. Kitts - we spent about an hour in the pharmacy to get a seasickness tablet from the counter. Make sure you take things slowly here, as you can’t expect anything else from the locals either. Mountain view from the beach. The best spot to watch the sunset with a cocktail - Sunshines Bar. You are...

Barbuda - The Beach Is Just The Beginning
http://carib.idoestravel.com/barbuda
This island is a good choice for:. Frigate birds in the Sanctuary. Finishing our trip, we took a walk along Pink Sandy Beach, a beautiful beach with - can you guess? Pink sand, and it was beautiful. It’s really hard to describe these beaches in depth, as all that we saw were simply breathtaking. About the Island Hoppers. View her on Twitter. View her on Github. View him on Onsite.

St. Kitts - Follow Your Heart
http://carib.idoestravel.com/st-kitts
This island is a good choice for:. Immaculate Conception Co-Cathedral in Basseterre, St. Kitts. New Year's Festival in Basseterre. Romney Manor's Sugar Mill. We couldn't see the Black Rocks on the eastern side, but we stopped at many bays we liked along the way to take a couple of photos. One of the best views on the island was from the mountain on the southern side because we could see both Frigate Bay on the Atlantic and Friars Bay on the Caribbean side. View from the top of the serpentine.

St. Martin - The Friendly Island
http://carib.idoestravel.com/st-martin
This island is a good choice for:. Entrance to Baie Rouge. St Martin had the nicest postcard beaches - palm trees, white sand and turquoise water. The less-crowded beaches on the western peninsula such as Baie Rouge, Baie aux Prunes and Baie Longue were good spots to chill, but the rocks on the shore and the waves prevented us from dipping into the sea. Looks peaceful but it's a struggle to get in - Baie aux Prunes. One of the clearests water we'd seen. View from Fort St Louis. The famous Maho beach is n...
