Maximus Kick in the Assimus. Kind of on a whim, Tom and I headed down to Michaux State Forest in Pennsylvania last weekend to race the 50-mile monster course of the Michaux Maximus. Race, just outside of Gettysburg. We had heard good things about the riding in Michaux state forest – things like “rocky” and “technical” – and figured this would be a good way to check it out.
