At the beginning of our ministry we only focused on relief work such as: clothing distribution, renting rooms or houses for the homeless and buying self-help businesses. Mike worked for IFM before he was married and then returned in 2008 with his wife and small son to work here for as long as God wills. The mountains of Pays Pourri are south of the mission base in Fond Parisien and are only accessible by foot or mule. It is a 2 to 5 hours strenuous hike up to 4500 feet. Pays Pourri is the 5th Section in the Commune of Ganthier, and is home to about 16,000 people. Here is a list of the sessions and teachers that we had each day:. Was also given twice a day.
