Hunt for Allyson and Dean Wood family: Ear Muff Headbands
http://hunt4allyson.blogspot.com/2011/01/ear-muff-headbands.html
Monday, January 10, 2011. I have had some fun crocheting a couple of headbands this past week. I was asked for the instructions, which of course I do not have. This is my best effort to recreate. Chain 4. Slip stitch to join, making a ring. Chain 3 1. *Double crochet, chain one* five times. Slip stitch in 3rd of chain three at beginning. This will make six spots to add petals. Make another chain link behind the pedals. This time it will take 4 or 5 chains to make it long enough. Start by chaining 11.

Poems to Live By. This is a collection of favorite poems I have found and enjoyed throughout the years. Feel free to comment and recommend your own personal favorites! November 21, 2009. Something there is that doesn't love a wall,. That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it. And spills the upper boulders in the sun,. And makes gaps even two can pass abreast. The work of hunters is another thing:. I have come after them and made repair. Where they have left not one stone on a stone,. Before I built a wa...

Poems to Live By. This is a collection of favorite poems I have found and enjoyed throughout the years. Feel free to comment and recommend your own personal favorites! March 1, 2010. There is a legend that has often been told. Of the boy who searched for the Windows of Gold. The beautiful windows he saw far away. When he looked in the valley at sunrise each day. And he yearned to go down to the valley below. But lived on a mountain that was covered with snow. And he knew it would be a difficult trek,.

Sailor's World: January 2013
http://zatarasworld.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Random thoughts, ponderings, and philosophical meanderings brought to you for free. Monday, January 7, 2013. Here is a great poem written by Dean Wood, a good friend who happens to be my boss at work. Dean has been blessed/cursed the the ability to see many things in life 'too clearly' as his former boss once told him. But I think it is a great ability, and he also is somewhat driven to poetic expression of these little insights. Here is the link to 'Mid-Life Crisis'. Monday, January 07, 2013.

http://hunt4allyson.blogspot.com/2014/04/yes-i-have-terrible-memory-im-first-to.html
Friday, April 4, 2014. I hoped for a Miracle, but didn't really feel like I'd get one. Yes, I have a terrible memory - I'm the first to admit it. For the past 15 years I have really missed it, and it is one of my most coveted losses in these past few years. But if I really wrack my brain, I can often come up with details, and when something lost or forgotten is found or remembered I can then remember the happenings - eventually very clearly. We unpacked the trailer full of items and the truck with our st...

Hunt for Allyson and Dean Wood family: Aunt Vanola
http://hunt4allyson.blogspot.com/2011/02/aunt-vanola.html
Monday, February 14, 2011. Aunt Vanola passed away last week on Saturday morning. We knew she was struggling and that she might be getting ready to go "home". However, who knows about that lady. I have received that same call many times and she has pulled through. Vanola, I doubt anyone who knows you - even slightly - will wonder where you are at. I would never presume to know where most people are going to end up in the next life because we really just don't know their hearts fully. You however,...100% ...

Thursday, January 31, 2013. Happenings last week . Well, I haven't even looked at this blog for since last April. A lot of things have happened since then, but today I just want to post about today. or maybe this past few weeks. I walked in through the back door to see Lorraine Adams there scrubbing it. She had noticed the same thing and had done something about it. I paused just long enough to snap a picture with my camera and my mind. Such kind service. Just trying to make life better. On the other han...
