Since my last post I’ve managed to set a 70.3 personal best at NOLA 70.3; win a 5k on a very cold, rainy, and windy day (prize was a 3 day/2 night stay at a beach resort); successfully defend my dissertation; slog through a very HOT 70.3 after spending 2 full days at Universal Studios; AND pack up our house for our move to San Antonio! A short bike proved it to be VERY windy!

Just another WordPress.com weblog. June 14, 2008. This past weekend was the last big weekend of training before Ironman, and I wanted to make it a good one! Instructions on my training plan read long ride with 2.5 hours of tempo on rolling hills to long climbs find something that simulates the course.
