Skip to main content. Fireplace Deluxe (Apple TV). I was one of the lucky developers to get the first batch of Apple TV developer kits for free (well… only 1$). To take advantage of this gift I started coding a simple App for the living room, Fireplace Deluxe. Your own digital fireplace. The app is simple, it loops a video showing a fire hearth with some covers simulating different fireplaces that you can change with a slide of your thumb on the Apple TV controller. Skip to main content. The emulator is no longer available for downloading from the App Store due to some issues with the terms. In short, Apple told me to remove it from the store 🙁. After a week of work I proudly present Chip-8 Emulator for iPhone and iPod Touch! I ported the Chip-8 Emulator I already did for J2ME. Chip-8 is an interpreted programming language used on the COSMAC VIP and Telmac 1800 8-bit microcomputers in the mid-1970s. You can grab the source code from GitHub. Blake Stone Port (iOS).

Skip to main content. Hydrium is a PC game made by Cesar Sampedro. David García and me back in 2005. In the game, you’re the blue balloon. You move by releasing little puffs of air left, right, up or down, which sets you floating off in that direction, coasting until you release another puff to change directions. You can slow down and stop with a sort of brake. We presented hydrium for the first time at the ArtFutura. 2005 show where it won the “Best Design” award. Blake Stone Port (iOS).

Skip to main content. One day I was surfing Emutalk. And I saw how easy could be starting a new emulator project. The point was emulating an old Chip-8 interpreter. But I wanted to go a little further trying to run it on mobile phones, so I coded it using J2ME. It runs pretty well and its compatibility is near perfect. So this is my latest project. After finishing and polishing my Game Boy emulator. I wanted a new challenge. Something a little bit more complex. I tried the Master System and to my surprise I found that it is rather easy to emulate.
