Monday, March 7, 2011. Preheat oven to 180 *C (350*F). In a large oven proof dish add -. 6 Large Apples (peeled, cored and sliced). 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar. In bowl - mix together -. 1 cup Wholewheat flour. 1 cup Rolled oats. 1/4 cup Brown sugar. Sprinkle on top of apples. Bake 30 minutes, or until top is golden brown. Serve with vegan ice cream. Saturday, July 26, 2008. Makes 2 small loaves. 25g organic molasses - tastes better. 1 Tbs active yeast. 1 Tbs rice bran oil. Stir dry ingredients into wet to make a pliable dough. Knead for about 5 minutes. Place in oiled bowl and cover with tea towel. Leave to rise until doubled, about 30 minutes. Remove dough and punch down on bench. Divide dough in half and shape into loaves. Place on oiled oven tray, or oiled bread tins. Brush with oil - I use a silicon pastry brush. Brush with oil, cool on wire rack.

Sunday, October 11, 2009. With twice the cocoa. Vegan Chocolate choc chip Cake. Created 11 October '09. Preheat oven to 180*C (350*F). 450g (16oz) wholewheat flour. 2 tsp cream of tartar. 1 tsp baking soda. 1 cup vanilla soy milk. 1 cup dairy free chocolate chips. Poon into greased 20-25cm (8-10 in) springform tin. Bake for 80 minutes,. Or until inserted chopstick comes out dry. Chocolate peanut butter frosting. 100g (4oz) peanut butter. 2 cups icing sugar. 1/2 cups vanilla soy milk. Links to this post.

Monday, August 3, 2009. Blend in blender or food processor -. 3/4 cup soy milk. 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Pour into wide dish. Gently dip bread slices into the mix, coating both sides.
