http://desertaggies.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Adventures of an overseas family. Friday, December 10, 2010. I'd Like to be a Christmas Tree. There is going to be a multi-language multi-congregation Christmas program next weekend at church. Sounds exciting! But we thought we were going camping (which has now been canceled : so Josiah will not be in the program. He has enjoyed the practices during "Friday School" though. He even learned one of the songs and motions. Just in case you can't understand the words:. I’d like to be a Christmas Tree. Isn't it...

Adventures of an overseas family. Saturday, July 10, 2010. June and 4th of July. Josiah and friend Layla laying on the infant activity mat. Notice Eliana on the carpet NOT on infant mat! Jon and Josiah playing at "Jungle Bungle" in the mall. One of the few indoor activities available. We went several times in the weeks before we left for the summer. Other than packing and getting ready to travel the main reason I was behind on blogging- chicken pox. Eliana had them and then Josiah got them too. Josiah lo...

desertaggies: June 2011
http://desertaggies.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Adventures of an overseas family. Monday, June 27, 2011. This is how Eliana eats biscuits or toast or anything with something tasty on top- she sticks her face into the biscuit and eats or licks off the jam. Then the rest of the biscuit is laid to the side while she asks/demands more! I don't think she's a "save the best for last" kind of person. The pictures did not turn out well but the ice cream cake was great! Camping on Jabal Shams. Here we are heading out. Notice goat in the background. This is...

The Maynard Moment: Days 17-19 | Catch-Up
http://themaynards3.blogspot.com/2014/10/days-17-19-catch-up.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2014. EK had another good week. And we ended the week by having nachos and watching Turner and Hooch. Easton had soccer at 9am. We then went for haircuts and to the grocery store. This is then the attitude that we got to deal with all day with EK {Not fun! We made some cupcakes to help the attitude. It didn't help much}. And why is it that cupcakes never look like they should from the magazine. This was supposed to be an owl}. I took the kids to the park to get out some energy.

The Maynard Moment: Thanksgiving Catch-Up
http://themaynards3.blogspot.com/2014/12/thanksgiving-catch-up.html
Monday, December 8, 2014. This year we went to the Thanksgiving Day parade again. Grandma came with us this time. This silly guy was on America's Got Talent as a roller skater. He is too funny! And then later in the day my side of the family came over for Thanksgiving Dinner. My poor dad had had the flu earlier in the week, so we moved the dinner to our house. Adventures of an overseas family. Monday, May 19, 2014. I love having friends around that take great photos. I can just put my camera (or phone) down and then get copies later! So here's Jordan's photos from our camping trip. Thanks Jord for always being so kind to share. :) As well as taking great photos of us! Should have done a collage, but this was faster. Jon, Victoria, Josiah and Eliana. Catching up from a few years. Out of the mouths of babes and whatsits. Starting into the logic phase.

Adventures of an overseas family. Monday, May 19, 2014. Catching up from a few years. Wow I haven't written anything since 2011. Kayla's birth made it on the blog but not much else. (If I can remember how I will update the blog title pic to include her! Now she is almost 3! I guess we've been busy with 3 kids- just living life- ups and downs, joy and sadness, lots of fun. Scenic overlook back down the mountain. Jon and Kayla ready for a hike (more like a stroll with small kids! Our family plus 1 :).

The Maynard Moment: Day 23 | Friday Favorites
http://themaynards3.blogspot.com/2014/10/day-23-friday-favorites.html
Friday, October 24, 2014. Day 23 Friday Favorites. Yesterday I worked until 2:00pm and then Scott and I went to our FAVORITE. We got nothing but a glowing report on her and the only concern is that she gets really anxious. We have noticed over the last year that she has lots of anxiety about things,. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the changes and losing family members/pets that she has gone through this year. 11:11 is EK's FAVORITE. We leave really early in the mornings for school, when it is still dark.
