Monday, May 09, 2005. I'm a 20 a day smoker with a wish to give up the cigarettes for good. I'm 27 and have been consistently smoking since i was 18. My chest is heavy, i have a regular 'smokers' cough and i get the odd chest pain which i now find a little unnerving. Now i decided to give up. Today is a good a day as any. Approximate time of last cigarette, 10 am 09/05/05. I'm armed with mints, chews, nicotine patches and questionable will power. Keeping it together and remaining occupied.
