I feel like I can move my arm around a lot, so I'm curious to find out what they'll let me do with it. I should also get video and pictures of the procedure. That will be cool to see. I Have a SLAP Tear. Friday, October 23, 2009. I miss the nerve block. The Game Ready ice therapy machine is my best friend right now. Every 30 minutes I get a dose of ice water and compression-better than pain meds, in my opinion. Two more days of rest, then back to work. My biggest challenge will be flying cross-country, to Maine, next Tuesday. Between now and then, I'm going to have to learn how to do everything one-handed,on my own. So far.putting on a shirt is the hardest. I like to make wine.

I Have a SLAP Tear. Thursday, October 29, 2009. Wellmy daily "routine", if you know what I mean, has gone all haywire. Yes.the big C word. I thought I've had constipation in the past, but holy cow! This goes to a whole new level. I've been visiting CVS here in Portland Maine (I'm on a business trip right now) trying out various laxitive products.
