Wednesday, April 1, 2009. Rachel came home from school today and told me she made ice cream in science lab. She was very excited about this and wanted to make some for her family. I was somewhat skeptical to let her do this so I asked her how it is made. She went into very clear detail from start to finish so I thought, why not? What is that noise? Lots of friends have had frozen water lines and broken pipes despite the preventive measures taken to avoid them. We had our share too. Saturday, November 28, 2009. Happy 7th Birthday Courtney! Rachel joined the girls so we had 10 of them sleeping out in our little aggieland upstairs. Keith fixed breakfast for them while I got a few more zzz's and had them all around the new dining room table with their cereal of choice. Although the meal was very good, I gained most of the pleasure from being together as a family and enjoying our quiet time together. He was impressed indeed but doesn't think he's up for playing the role of catcher. It was a great moment watching him get out on the field again. He used to coach girls softball.
