A dairy farm in our city. My older girls even commented upon arrival, "that wasn't that far! I think they were expecting hours in the car, not minutes. My #2 explaining to #3 that you have to have a blue token to ride (meaning numbers #3 and #4 were out of luck this time). Someday I'm going to build me a glass bottle wall like this one. About 14 months ago we purchased a winter home in Apache Junction after spending two winters there in our RV. This time we were there for eight months because we love it there! Family, friends, and soup! The humble potato transformed into delicious goodness. The soups were a wonderful potato poblano chowder and a not-quite-as-wonderful pesto bean. The potato poblano chowder is a definite keeper and the recipe is so easy:. When potatoes are tender, add the poblanos, nutmeg, chicken base and pepper and simmer 15 minutes.
