Back to the Heartland. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Heartland in Los Angeles. Glimpsed some more pie love on the best coast this past weekend while visiting the North Hollywood Farmer's Market. Nicholas Cofrancesco of I HEART PIES. Was out on that hot day, selling the fruit-filled pastries he and his wife Emily bake together. We sampled a strawberry rhubarb piece and picked up a blueberry crumble to go. Delicious! Further evidence that pie is definitely on the rise, from coast to coast. Monday, June 18, 2012.

We used teddy grahams to for inspiration and went with it :) hope you enjoy! The front of the house. Too much speed . and hes down! Fun times on the slopes! Enjoying the hot tub! Random Food Thoughts and Pics from L.A. Sunday, April 24, 2011. Scallops in miso butter glaze. I normally wouldn't do a miso glaze, but today, I was inspired. Scallops, pan fried in butter with miso and deglazed with equal portions of a nice Cotes du Rhone and sake. Too lazy to plate separately, I served it donburi style (over rice). Topped them with Pink Himalayan Salt . DELICIOUS! I made them in three sizes. Tiny (1/2 ounce), Medium (1 ounce) and Large (3 ounces)! The large ones are nice and chewy on the inside and crispy on the out! Monday, January 18, 2010. I was commissioned to make this Strawberry Mousse Birthday Cake for a Post Production Company!
