The Metro Transit Light Rail Pages. Opening weekend and unit 114 leaves 50th Street (Minnehaha Park) for downtown Minneapolis. This is my website celebrating the Minneapolis Metro Transit Light Rail Hiawatha line. To mark the appearance of Purespring Watercress in Narrow Gauge and Industrial Railway Modelling Review, I've put together a full gallery of photographs for you. Some of which are new some are not. Some of which were featured in the REVIEW. Some of which were not. The building of Purespring was fraught with problems. Not least the destruction of the first version of the layout. Whinny Lane (Whinny Lane on the Apple Valley light Railway to give it its full title) was my third Gn15 layout and it would be my first exhibition layout in Gn15. It was planned from the outset to go to exhibitions and I hoped that learning from the mistakes of my previous 2 layouts would enable me to build a layout that was entertaining to watch and fun to operate.
