IHWHA Video guidelines for certification in hand and/or under saddle. Videos must be submitted by email or uploaded to YouTube and email us the link to find the video. Gaits of the Heritage Walking Horse. Some Heritage Horses are multi-gaited and can also perform other four beat saddle gaits, like the rack, foxtrot, or saddle rack. These gaits come in. To the flat walk and running walk. There is no head nod in this gait, and the shoulders and hindquarters are very active. There is some overstep in this gait, but not as much as in the running walk. 31 aug. 2014. Vandaag zijn we eindelijk weer eens op het militair domein gaan rijden. Na de extreme regenval van de afgelopen weken liggen er enorm veel plassen in het bos, iets waar zowel Ravi als Anouck een bloedhekel aan hebben. Tot nu toe wisten ze zich altijd wel langs een plas te wurmen, ook als dat ten koste van onze knieen ging maar alles beter dan natte voeten. Op het domein waren de plassen echter zo groot dat er geen ontkomen meer aan was. Perfecte training! Sandra van den Hof. 23 aug. 2014.

Bezoek in het zonnige zuiden. Bij het zien van de foto's van Tristan twijfelde Sara geen moment en stapte op het vliegtuig. Een weekend lang was ze bij Tristan. Maakte een buitenrit en kon met hem kennismaken op stal en in zijn eigen omgeving. 2 weken later stond hij ruim 1300 km zuidelijker. Bij puur toeval ontdekte Sara dat wij heel dicht in de buurt waren. Sterker nog, de dag dat we contact hadden bleek dat we nog geen 300 meter bij Tristan vandaan waren geweest! We moesten elkaar dus zeker treffen!

17 mrt. 2015. Lilly is back on track! De meeste mensen kennen het trieste verhaal van Lilly die nu 2 jaar geleden rondom hoefbevangen stond. De laatste 2 jaar was zwaar met veel ups en downs voor mijn grote kleine vriendin. Na een paar acute aanvallen volgden een aantal hoefzweren als gevolg van een natuurlijke afvoer van afvalstoffen. Een nieuw begin voor Noukepouck. Alleen moest dat wel met de juiste persoon zijn. Dus mijn screening was hard; alle onzekere mensen vielen bij voorbaat af. Degene die door de eerste selectie kwam en persoonlijk met Anouck kennis maakte viel al gauw door de mand. Dwz, Anouck gaf direct aan of het klikte of niet.
