IJ-7 The Seventh Conference on InJo: Weather
http://ij7.innovationjournalism.org/p/weather.html
Students give Stanford overwhelmingly positive marks for weather. With the exception of winter, it is pretty much always sunny on campus, but still in the perfectly comfortable 60–75 degree range. Winters can be rainy, but it varies year to year. Summers can actually get pretty hot, but humidity is always reasonably low. In general, the weather is great. Stanford Weather Forecast, CA. Esther Wojcicki's journalism students from Palo Alto High, collectively, are a force of nature. Between Ed Madison from the University of Oregon, Tim Dickinson from Rolling Stone, and, of course, Esther Wojcicki herself, this session promises to be an eye-opener to say the least. If journalism can successfully cover innovation and creative destruction, we can quicker develop a shared language for it so we can discuss what is going on, raising our collective intelligence. How can journalism live up to the opportunity? How can it manage its own innovation? Is diverse and global. Http:/ w...
