Crossing the borders of the digital divide. May 1, 2013. When I was booking hotels for my business trips a few years back, I had to contact each hotel individually, either by phone or email. I was pretty pleased then, as sending an email would result to an instant reply (half a day or a day after). I knew something could be better, but as a consumer, I wasn’t too aware of any improvements. Apparently, the hotel booking experience can be improved (yes, anything can be improved).
