Monday, 13 July 2009. WOW, WOW, WOW! I've been excited about going here for a while, but it was even better than I imagined! Pic 1 Panorama of one of the main streets in Pompeii. Everybody says it's big, but nothing can prepare you for a 2000 year old CITY almost completely intact. You can. Pic 2 yep, they're dead. Pic 3 street with Vesuvius beyond. Pic 4 Cafe counter-top. Pic 5 another cafe with a painting/fresco still on the wall. Pic 6 signage still on some of the walls. Pic 8 tiled ceiling in alcove.

Friday, 19 September 2008. And then they were students. Things are going pretty darn well and there are a few things to catch you all up on. Well, 2 and half school weeks later, Dylan can sight read his books without pause, does his homework immediately as soon as we get back to the apartment and is writing when he doesnt even have to! Ruby is also reading already! She has memorized about 2 dozen of the main words and can figure out some that she doesnt know just by using the sound of the first letter.
