Tuesday, September 16, 2008. The (not at all) Wicked Stepmother. It's been one year and 4 months since our wedding, the same day my Mother-in-Law had a fatal stroke. And not quite two weeks ago, my Father-in-Law got remarried. Her name is Susan. They met on eHarmony just 2 months after Terry died. She is lovely, kind and generous, and always tries to be sensitive to the situation with Dave's family. And she brings laughter and joy to Joe's life, for which I am thankful. New Yorker in Texas. Remember last post where I said that I was not going to over think the Half too much, welp, I lied. I’ve been weather stalking and cultivating a nice little ball of nervous energy in the pit of my stomach. Sigh. My last taper run helped ease some of my nervous energy a bit and now I have to just focus on having f-u-n. The training is done! And found a really nice and peaceful trail where I logged my first double digit run! I really can’t complain about this training cycle at all.
