The Hollow Pine: October 2011
http://hollowpine.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 22, 2011. I am still so tired with days/nights mixed up a bit. back to the grind on Monday. Wishing I had another week off from work. I was hoping the adventure would leave me with a bit of clarity but it didn't. The saying "where ever you go, there you are" stands oh so true. A beautiful peaceful place, where they take survey's about most everything to ensure they are doing their best to provide happiness. This includes removing the crust from all bread. LOL! Now that I am home, I can ...

The Hollow Pine: Wounded Warriors
http://hollowpine.blogspot.com/2011/06/wounded-warriors.html
Sunday, June 5, 2011. It's easy to imagine an Indian Warrior in battle, protecting the Tribe, carrying this leather journal to record his adventures when he is away from his people. He writes about his battles triumphs and woes, adventures of hunting great animals, and vision quest dreams, all in this journal. It too gets wounded like the scars he carries on his body and in his heart. Ahh the poetry of life. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wall Art and Then some. My handmade Leather Journals.

The Hollow Pine: November 2011
http://hollowpine.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 27, 2011. Jim and The Waldgeist*. The other day, Bobbi and I were watching Martha Stewart - holding out for a nifty new craft idea. Most of the time, we don't make what she comes up with, but on this particular day, we thought, Yes! However, with the holiday season swiftly approaching, and my etsy journals kicking into high gear, it was just as swiftly forgotten. Days later, Jim says, "Can we purchase moss in a store? The term Waldgeist is German for ‘woodland spirit’, believ...Jim and T...

The Hollow Pine: Serenity
http://hollowpine.blogspot.com/2011/07/serenity.html
Saturday, July 30, 2011. Each of these prints capture special memories for me. The first, was an adventure I took with my husband and youngest child to Thunder Bay, Canada. The photograph was taken in the (Anishinaabe) Chippewa Band of Grand Portage Indian Reservation. The serenity it evokes to the viewer is close to the feeling I got standing in that very spot looking out to The Great Lake Superior. Absolutely spectacular peaceful beauty is all I can say about it. And here I go again.

The Hollow Pine: March 2011
http://hollowpine.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 13, 2011. Past, Present, and Future. And I had my old dog Bonz again! In my dream I knew he was gone, and I was lucky to have this opportunity to have him back - which seemed to only be possible by living in my old house. This dream was really wonderful - connecting my past with the present to bring about a future that I wanted. It seemed everything was as it should be. Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Living in the moment. Tonight, a small child said, "I am here Mema! And we all cheered, "hurray!

The Hollow Pine: Good Morning Sunshine!
http://hollowpine.blogspot.com/2011/09/good-morning-sunshine.html
Sunday, September 18, 2011. Ok, so its a dreary day today. that's ok, but not only my photographic title was used in an etsy treasury, so was a photograph that I'm particularly fond of. It was taken in my own backyard as summer came to an end and has sparked a new etsy shop called, And So Arts. Hanging Tibetan prayer flags was my solution. Speaking of Tibet and creative flow. next stop is the Himalayn Mountains! In the tibetan language. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wall Art and Then some.
