Monday, July 28, 2008. Opaque White- adding snow. I hope everyone had a restful weekend. Although we haven't had record heat this summer, it's still hot enough to make you long for winter snow. The next best thing is to color a picture with snow in it. A useful thing to help color snow is Opaque White. Opaque white can be thinned with water, for a thin glaze over marker work, or kept thick for good coverage over dark areas. Look at how detailed the flecks of snow are in the sky on this image. Ick! Wednesday, October 1, 2014. Barnsley Resort Adairsville Georgia. Last week, my husband had a meeting at Barnsley Resort. North of Atlanta. I tagged along and am I glad I did! I loved this place! It had history, scenery, gardens, good food.great place! The accommodations were built like little houses or cottages, with high ceilings, claw foot bath tubs and wonderful toiletries from the Spa (Lavender mint.yes, I am going to have to buy some! The ruins of the manor were fascinating to me! I wanna go, too!

The exterior was scratched and faded and the inside had very old, yucky padding where it had most likely once held a necklace. I wasn't sure what to use the box for at the time but felt inspired to renovate it and then hope an idea came later.
