http://celestarimington.blogspot.com/2011/11/writing-novel-in-less-than-month.html
Thursday, November 10, 2011. Writing A Novel In Less Than A Month. I've officially signed up as a participant in NaNoWriMo- which is code for National Novel Writing Month. The goal is to write 50,000 words for your novel in the month of November. What do I like about writing a novel within such a tight time frame? It's hard to stop typing...

Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Sitting At the Grown-Up Table. You know, the one with the soft white table cloth you weren't allowed to touch and the giant goblets of some yummy drink you weren't allowed to have and the gold-leafed china were weren't allowed to eat on? Better and we just have to give ourselves permission to sit there. I think working toward a goal is something like that. It's worth the effort so we don't have to taste paper with our turkey. But once we reach that grown-up table, it'...I'm that ...

Celesta Rimington: Living It
http://celestarimington.blogspot.com/2013/01/living-it.html
Thursday, January 3, 2013. I have often looked up at a blue sky, with a perfect feather-dusting of clouds, and I've thought, "That looks just like a painting.". It looks just like nature in its perfection, and the painting is only a copy of something greater. Well, what if it does? What if things get really tough? I've been reminded that facing unexpected challenges and experiencing the full spectrum of emotions is a pummeling that can make me stronger. I just have to let it be. Good for you for being po...

Celesta Rimington: Rejection Letter Recipes
http://celestarimington.blogspot.com/p/rejection-recipes.html
Stories are the sweets of life. In the world of publishing, as in life, we have to take the bitter with the sweet. But much is to be said for learning from rejections and for being willing to revise or even re-write. Let's begin with a cold weather favorite and a delightful soul-soother:. Fruit Soup with Pear Wedges. If you are in a h...
