I looove picking paint colors! Here is palette #1. In this palette I chose a true gray, and aqua accents (pillows, etc). In this palette I chose a bluer gray. Monday, March 12, 2012. My girlfriend just found out recently that she is pregnant with a GIRL! I'm so excited for her! I offered to help her with her nursery - this was her inspiration:. And this is what I came up with for her:. I'm still not quite finished - I could go on for days with the accents! But she wants to get her walls painted this week so here's a quick list of what I have come up with so far:. Wall Paint: Valspar's Aqua Glow. Yellow Sheet: Babies R Us. Accent Pillows: Tonic Living.

I'd already started taking stuff off the walls at this point, but you can at least see the color of the walls before. We got the paint for free (it was a buy 3 get one free deal at Home Depot), the light fixtures were $20 each, the cabinets were $150 each from HD, accessories and art from random places collected over the years. Curtains (cream silk) $60 per panel. The color is Barn Red by Martha Stewart. I hate MS paint. We had to put 3 coats on! Total cost to paint and do minimal upgrades - $340.
