Darrell Stiffler | Biography

Darrell was raised in a working class family. His Father, Tom Stiffler, was a truck driver that drove for the same company for 30 years. Bernice Stiffler was a homemaker. They were married for 63 years. Darrell attended Pleasant Hill High School in Pleasant Hill, Missouri and graduated in 1964 with a class of 63 students. Darrell participated in sports and school politics. After two years of attending William Jewell College he dropped out of College and was drafted into the US Army.

I Love My Veteran. It is speculation on my part, but I suspect a contributing factor to this tragedy is the lack of appreciation shown by fellow citizens. After a veteran returns and weeks turn to months and months turn into years the expression of appreciation by others fades into a dim past, but the memories of war are a short flash back to vivid memories. Thank you for your support and as a Veteran myself, thanks for showing your appreciation. Freedom in never free.
