This was distilled on the 17th November 1972 and was bottled 3rd July 2013 at a whopping 40 years of age, and has an abv of 43%. GLENDRONACH 1993 cask #42 ( Batch 14 ). December 6, 2016. January 14, 2017. What more can I say about Glendronach that has not been said in previous reviews other than I’m so looking forward to this one! This 1993 is the first Oloroso sherry cask in this batch 14 release so far and having just poured it I can already smell the wonderful aromas associated with top notch Oloroso matured whisky. Finish. lingering sherry and oak. Quite delicious. My gratitude goes out to Glendronach for the official sample.
