We finally have a baby who sleeps through the night! First trip to the zoo and Grant’s Farm. First time meeting his aunt and some of his cousins. Attended his first birthday party (his brother’s). Remember when I said he hated diaper changes? Um, not being held? What I’m Thankful For:. Sleeping through the night! What I’m Looking Forward To:. Still w...

These Dean Days: Easter Weekend
http://thesedeandays.blogspot.com/2015/04/easter-weekend.html
Sunday, April 5, 2015. We had a very busy weekend, but I can't think of a better one or any other way I would have wanted to spend our time. Thursday morning, Olivia had her annual Easter Hat parade. Olivia and baby Stella were both excited for the parade! We were thrilled to see Olivia, Cate and Emma side by side, giggling and waving to us as they passed by! Love these sweet little bunnies! Olivia and sweet Palmer (aka - the big kids) bouncing. Kindred spirits with their naked babies. Aimed at raising m...

The Time of My Life: June 2012
http://texaspaige.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
The Time of My Life. Wednesday, June 27, 2012. My youngest cousin, Annie, graduated from Trinity University last month. I do still love her even though she went to Southwestern's rival college. It's not exactly a mean rivalry anyway. We small schools have to stick together among the giants in the state of Texas. The graduate and her wonderful parents. Annie had a big group of cheerleaders supporting her! Annie's boyfriend, Waynne, received a graduate degree that same day, so there was a lot to celebrate.

The Time of My Life: December 2012
http://texaspaige.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
The Time of My Life. Sunday, December 30, 2012. Our last full day of the trip was a Saturday. We said goodbye to the last of the (other) guests and headed off for the boys' third trip to the Southeastern Connecticut Children's Museum. Amazingly, there was plenty of stuff they had not played with before. This was our first time to go outside, and it was fantastic. This is William's favorite thing at the Children's Museum of Houston as well. Every good museum needs one of these. Good job, all! They require...

These Dean Days: September 2014
http://thesedeandays.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 26, 2014. For her birthday party, we did a "girly" train theme (pink and navy) at Happy Playland! She was over-the-moon about her party. I swear that she literally jumped up and down for 2 hours, excitedly greeting all her friends and shouting "It's my birthday! One of the cutest things she did was take each of her friends and bring them around to meet her grandparents and aunts. Love! The see-saw was a big hit (and consequently a big source of fighting! After breakfast (kolaches, donut...

Is this thing still on? So things have been a little quiet around here. Let’s talk about why that is, shall we? But rather than droll on and on about how life with two kids is so busy (parents of 3 roll their eyes at me), let me give you a glimpse into what the other night was like, for example. D’s toy...

But… Will There Be Cake? Archive for July, 2014. Where Do You Want Your Kids to Grow Up? On July 7, 2014 6 Comments. The hubs and I took the boys on Sam’s first overnight, multi-state roadtrip trip this weekend to visit my parents. He did great for about 4 hours of the drive. (It’s a 5.5 hour drive, without stops. So…yeah.). But when the baby WASN’T crying, we discussed one of our favorite topics: Moving someplace warmer. So I’m curious, freaders, where do YOU want your kids to grow up? Is it on a farm?
