It’s short, and while it is a bit mature, it doesn’t seem to beg for a nickname to soften it up for a little girl, like Margaret. What do you all think? Just Mad About Names. 8220;We’re all mad here.”. 8220;We’re all mad here.”. 8220;Name her Alice! 8221; was my four-year-old refrain after my new baby sister was born and yet-unnamed. At the time, my knowledge of names was limited, but I was passionately fond of the title character in my book-on-tape abridged edition of. Alice eventually became my sister’s middle name, and I was quieted but not quenched. I wanted to name more things, many things. And I was curious...
