Friday, June 20, 2008. Technically speaking, its the holidays. We, students finally deserved out well deserved and long overdue rest. However, this holiday has been homework after homework, revision after revision. The 'homework express' does not seem to end, and sadly, it won't. Friday, June 20, 2008. Do we singaporeans view education too highly? Personally, I have to agree. Just take a look at our national table tennis team, almost all of them are foreigners and only a handful are singaporeans. This simply reveals a startling fact, singaporeans view certificates as the one and only way to earn money as parents discourage their child to persue their dreams in sports but instead focus on academics. Sunday, June 15, 2008. My favourite author will and have to be Ronald Dahl. I have to agree that it is a rather immature choice of mine, however, his books are those that I could relate with the most, and that is what, I feel, is the most important aspect of a book. There are a few interesting thing facts about this amazing author that I am about to share with you. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Friends will be present at every stage of our lives. From the time when we were toddlers to the time when we are going to work, friends will always be present. However, true friends that stick with us through thick and thin are rare. Thus, these friendships are so brittle yet so precious, so rare yet so uncherished.
