Here is a little update on what we've been doing! We got to go to McCall, Idaho for the Winter Carnival. It was lots of fun! We walked around looking at all the amazing sculptures and even topped it off with a piece of greasy pepperoni pizza. What a day. I guess I will have to face my fears in about five months. Little baby bean is growing and growing. Pregnancy is such a funny thing! Somedays I love it and somedays I can't think of anything worse. None other than Jordon Heap! Kayla and Jordon Heap.

We had some visitors this weekend! We were so excited for our family to come visit us in Boise. We had a very fun filled weekend. We introduced them to the goodness of USWIRL, where Tanner got 21 ounces of yogurt! Played Killer Bunnies. This was way too much fun! The Hard Truth of Being "Overdue". Let's be honest "overdue" is probably the most depressing word in the english language. Overdue bills, library books, and movies are not good things. None of these gives me a good feeling. especially that time in college they tried to fine me 50.00 for an overdue book. Yikes. But you know what else doesn't give me a good feeling? That's right folks I am rocking the forty plus baby bump. Here's hoping that we just have a few more days of being OVERDUE. How crazy is that?

A baby, a bump, and a baby shower. Jordon stumbled across this little baby yesterday. The scary thing is he stumbled across his mom too. The mom raccoon was so scared she ran away leaving her little baby long enough that Jordon could snap a picture. I know raccoons are mean, vicious, and a pest but he is so cute! I named him Leo. We went on a date. We went on a date. It sounds simple but dates now are a BIG thing for us. Maybe its because she's my first child or maybe i'm just an overly attached parent but it is really hard to leave her sometimes! BUT I am getting better (VERY slowly haha). Most days I prefer to wear my yoga pants and a hoodie. This is not because I'm pregnant. this has been my staple wardrobe for quite sometime. Anyways. imagine my surprise when today after about a week of wearing yogas and sweatshirts I put on normal clothes and WOAH. there is a BABY BUMP. Since school started it seems like everything is just a blur. Life has been so crazy and chaotic that I am just trying to hold and and survive haha. We were so spoiled this week with temperatures of sixty degrees! It made me so ready for spring and so excited for summer. We decided to take Alison to the park for the first time. She loved the ducks, she just stared at them with amazement. We rode down the slide with her (which was a big hit) and tried to put her in the swings (not such a big hit). It was so fun being out with our little girl. The second adventure this week was swimming! Seriously so cute I could die. Kayla and Jordon Heap.

That one time when I used to blog. I have been a terrible blogger lately. I am recommitting myself. Here is a brief/scattered/chaotic update of the past few months :). I definitely have not been the best at documenting this growing bump of mine. but I think I've done pretty well. It is still so surreal that we are going to have a baby. We are so excited! We get to find out the gender in February! It seems like every day we go back and forth of what baby bean is. so we are REALLY excited to find out the sex.
