Had a great day at Martin Mere which is run by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Tarlscough, Burscough, Lancashire. Really beautiful place and despite the rain I managed to take a few shots and was even lucky with the evening light when the sun popped out for 10 minutes for the Mute Swans arrival. They are called 'Green Iguanas' and are native to Honduras primarily. The males turn brown before reaching sexual maturity, while the females remain green much longer and never turn fully brown.
