Yeah, it's gotta click. February 14, 2015. December 22, 2015. Old Number 7 In Winter. I really don’t know if this is Old Number 7. There is a “7” that can be seen on the train in front of the chimney. (Is that a headlamp? So, why not call it Old Number 7? Because of the contrast, and the snow, and the black of the engine, it made sense for this to be made into a B&W study. Then, for me, it made more sense to use some post processing magic to give it a charcoal sketch kind of treatment.

Yeah, it's gotta click. November 11, 2014. January 8, 2015. It’s A Swamp Thing. Had a chance to tour a swamp while in New Orleans recently. I was lucky to have the seat in the front of the boat, so as it went into the narrow parts where the interesting stuff was, like the cedars, I got photos without distractions.
