http://thekclewisfamily.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
The KC Lewis Family. Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Deb's Latest Update 12/22/2009. I had my CT scan on Monday and received good news for the end of 2009. The radiation appears to have worked and the largest tumor in my lungs has shrunk by more than half. It is currently stable as are the other very small spots that still remain. Nothing new has shown up since these original spots appeared back in 2007. This is very good news! Best wishes to all of you for a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Brig is ...

The KC Lewis Family: December 2008
http://thekclewisfamily.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
The KC Lewis Family. Thursday, December 4, 2008. Our doctor gave us some "good cheer" just in time for Christmas that we wanted to pass along to all our family and friends! The tumors are still stable, and very microscopic at around 3mm. So, the current medicines appear to still be working. We are still hopeful that the cells are actually just "dead" and will eventually disappear. That is our New Year's wish! It may be a long road ahead, but we are praying it'll happen. Debra, Casey, Conor, and Brigham.

The KC Lewis Family: October 2009
http://thekclewisfamily.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
The KC Lewis Family. Friday, October 2, 2009. Deb's Latest Update - 10/2/2009. I met with Dr. Fabian, my Oncologist, on Wednesday. She explained that it usually takes 6 weeks before you can see the results on a CT of the SBRT (radiation). So, she scheduled a CT in 3 weeks. Hopefully we'll be able to see some results then. But, hopefully by getting back on this combination, we have kept things stable once again. We'll find out in three weeks. I guess it is just hard to measure who that truly is. Welcome t...

http://thekclewisfamily.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
The KC Lewis Family. Sunday, November 2, 2008. Deb's Latest Update - Nov 2, 2008. Things have been so crazy this past week I haven't had time to post our latest test results. We got great news once again. The smallest two tumors are still microscopic at 2mm and 3mm. The largest shrank by 50% and is now 2mm also. The doctor was very pleased. The current regimen of meds is working and she wants me to stay on them indefinitely. I'll go back in about 7 weeks for more tests. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). It's n...

The KC Lewis Family. Monday, November 22, 2010. Deb's Latest Update 11/22/2010. It's been about three weeks since I stopped the Tykerb. I have finally gotten back to normal - no more finger cuts, no more rash, stomach issues, no more miserable! I believe they'll scan me about every 9 weeks to make sure. I will continue to check in with my oncologist here while on this treatment. Hopefully all will go well. Family and friends are definitely the greatest blessings! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The KC Lewis Family: Deb's Latest Update 9/4/10
http://thekclewisfamily.blogspot.com/2010/09/debs-latest-update-9410.html
The KC Lewis Family. Saturday, September 4, 2010. Deb's Latest Update 9/4/10. For the past few months I've been off most of my medications, except for my Herceptin injections every 3 weeks. It was a great summer and I loved getting to take a break! About four weeks ago I got all my CT scans redone to see how things looked after being off for the summer. At that time there was a new tumor in my lungs. Very small though! Dr Fabian decided to let me have another month and then do a recheck. It is however st...

The KC Lewis Family. Sunday, January 25, 2009. The boys are both playing basketball this Winter. Our camera definitely isn't designed for action photos or gym lighting! Conor performed Come Together by the Beatles at his Friday Night Social performance last Friday night. They had only practiced three times so far, but did really well. Conor (and I) are very excited for them to start learning "Wanted Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi! Below are a couple of video clips from the concert. Thursday, January 8, 2009.

The KC Lewis Family: May 2009
http://thekclewisfamily.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
The KC Lewis Family. Thursday, May 21, 2009. Deb's Latest Update 5/21/2009. Good news from my last appointment! After approx. 7-8 weeks without my chemo pill my tumors have not grown. This means we should be okay for the summer! I've also lowered my dosage of Tykerb to minimize most of my side effects. So, hopefully that will help and my summer will be full of fun and sun! Hopefully we can reach a lot of people and beat our fundraising total from last year which was $5000! Boys' Field Day at School.

The KC Lewis Family. Thursday, March 5, 2009. Deb's Latest Update - 3/5/2009. It's been awhile since my last post. I've kind of been in maintenance mode the past several months since the "spots" are microscopic and nothing new has shown up. Chemo pill) for the summer. This way I can be in the sun and enjoy my summer a little more! I'll stay on the weekly injections of Herceptin. But, Dr. Fabian is ready to give my body a break and hopefully ease up some of the side effects for awhile. Photo courtesy of w...
