There and Back Again: February 2012
http://jtkjournal.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
There and Back Again. Monday, February 20, 2012. After helping Gaga put up her bird feeders, Grandpa got out his BB gun. We set up a target and two Coke cans and stood fifty feet away and shot at them. I knocked both Coke cans of the stump and hit near the bull's eye on the target. Dad was really jealous. Also, Grandpa gave me the BB gun to keep until they come a couple days before my birthday! Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Gaga and Grandpa's house. Tuesday, February 14, 2012. http://jtkjournal.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
There and Back Again. Friday, July 27, 2012. Hardly a day has passed this summer when we (meaning me, Sam, Caroline, Ben, Jack, and our friends, Emma, James, Cate, and Jesse) don't ask to go to the pool. I mean, it's 100 degrees! So anyway, we want to go to the pool every day. Really, really want to go. And finally, after FOREVER (two days to be precise) we went! AND had homemade ice-cream afterwards! Thursday, July 26, 2012. The first LEGO Lord of the Rings Building Challenge. The gift of the Evenstar.

There and Back Again. Saturday, September 15, 2012. So I know I haven't posted for over a month, but please, accept my apologies. I am getting back to it! So, a couple days ago, our friend next door neighbor, James, and our friend across the street, Jessica, decided to open a smoothie shop in James' garage. Ten minutes later, their messy garage interior was perfectly tidy. Another ten minutes, the Refrigerated Restaurant (what a great name, too) was open and ready to serve! And started coming to us!

There and Back Again. Friday, April 20, 2012. The capital of Hawaii. While memorizing our states and capitals in school the other day, Mom called on each of us and ask us the capital of a state. I answered Idaho, Sam answered for Utah, Caroline answered for California, and when Mom asked who knew the capital of Hawaii, me, Sam, Caroline and Ben all raised our hands. Mom called on Ben to answer, and he yelled, "Hallelujah! Caught in the act. Thursday, April 19, 2012. King Black and his Victims. The other ...

The Road Goes Ever On: May 2012
http://ongoingroad.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
The Road Goes Ever On. Tuesday, May 29, 2012. One of our MANY forts. These are the pallet houses. They are made out of pallets from Daddy's job somewhere. The one on the left is E-man's and the one on the right is Mr. D's. There is a bridge connecting their houses. Johnny-Boy likes climbing all over the top of it. Thankfully Daddy put a guardrail up to keep Johnny-Boy from falling off the side. This is my pallet house. It has a floor and a very high-class table/bench/bed. Saturday, May 26, 2012. As we ar...
