My Little Travel Diary. August 15, 2011 · 12:41 PM. Despite only really being a brief stop-over before Australia, Singapore really impressed me. This is a place that literally thinks of every tiny detail; from complimentary bags outside shopping centres to stop your wet umbrella dripping (heaven forbid), to free chargers at the international airport for your iPod and mobile phones. The islands we visited were well worth the epic trip down from Bangkok. We didn’t have enough time to set foot on them all, but still managed to work our way through three; Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Phi Phi, shown here on this useful little map.
