Friday, November 19, 2010. On Charity was a great reminder and teacher of what charity is and how we can apply it in our lives. Thursday, November 18, 2010. This is what I got to see today. This is the smart-alec, punk son that I have. This is what he did when I asked him to vaccum around the table, really good. Man, I love that boy! So what did I learn you ask? I don't know if you really care, but for my own sake, I will write them down and I guess if you read on you will find out. Kind of a different s...

Friday, April 29, 2011. When Queens Ride By. Have you read this short story by Agnes Slight Turnbull. If you are a wife you should. I love it, it's beautiful! It helps me remember why men and women have different roles and the importance of those roles. So take 10 to 15 minutes and read this great story written over 100 years ago. Friday, April 22, 2011. By Neil J. Flinders. He used to be a professor at BYU, he uses the scriptures to back up what he's saying; it's really a wonderful book. He's such a joy...

Monday, February 17, 2014. We don't usually celebrate Valentines Day, but it can be fun. Both of the kids' grandpas always remember to send special treats in the mail for holidays like this! At least someone is making sure the kids feel special for this day haha. We don't do Valentines gifts, but Ryan surprised me with a funny one! But I guess I can see the appeal of having a holiday to kindle the romance and renew special promises:. Posted by Our Ohana. Monday, February 10, 2014. The first week of schoo...

Our Ohana: March 2014
http://sorensonohana.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 24, 2014. Ryan was being a cute dad and bought this bird feeder and some seed to put in our front yard with the girls. They were delighted to see that it brought so many gorgeous Rosellas! They were so shy, I had to take this from the car. They wouldn't let me come close when I was on foot. I love it when my sweet kids all cuddle each other! One rainy Sunday, I wanted to go for a bush walk and invited the family to join. Only two takers! I love these munchkins. The year 6s at the school hel...

Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Boy's trip to New Zealand. Ryan and 2 of his friends got to go on a week-long trip to the beautiful country of New Zealand! Yes, I was super jealous, but hopefully we'll still get to go as a family sometime before we move away from this part of the world. They stayed mostly around the area of Queenstown, which is right up in the mountains on the Southern Island. Here are some of the photos he got of this gorgeous place! Their view from the balcony. Ready to go zip lining!

I got to spend some time with 3 of my sisters this weekend, it was so much fun staying up late, watching the stupidest movie ever, shopping at the mall and laughing our heads off! Have you ever tried to fit 4 adults into one of these photo box places? It doesn't really work, but we had a blast trying! I'm so excited because Lisa is planning on moving back to Utah! Now we just need to get Stacie here. Tuesday, June 8, 2010. Wednesday, June 2, 2010. We got a ...

Saturday, December 28, 2013. More fun outings with the grandparents. Still so many fun outings during Deena and Kelly's visit to talk about! We went to the National Library to see the amazing map exhibition there. It also has a great collection from Captain Cook's explorations. Guess who's kids always end up playing in the fountain? Sweet smiles with their grandparents! One day, we took them out of the city to a gorgeous little country restaurant called Poacher's Pantry. Soo yummy. We'll call it a draw.

Friday, April 23, 2010. I love having Patrick home. It's nice to be able to get him to work and see what he's capable of. He's a good worker. We've been doing some work in the yard and that boy can work a wheelbarrow (he loves it! He also went down and earned some money for helping a neighbor haul bricks and this morning he came to the canary and helped me can some grains we bought from Azure Standard. Http:/ www.pbs.org/pov/.
