Erin on the move: December 2013
http://erinonthemove.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 30, 2013. Wow, this has been my worst year for blogging productivity yet. Here are our updates from the past two months. We just had another ultrasound, and the verdict is – a girl! Rob and I celebrated another anniversary by having an overnight date in Old Town Alexandria (thanks, Pretty Mahana, for watching our kids! I love that I can be absolutely myself with him, and he loves me all the more for it. Happy new year, everyone! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Till We Have Faces.

Erin on the move: April 2013
http://erinonthemove.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 29, 2013. Spring seems to be coming and going so rapidly I can't keep track of which season we're in, but we took advantage of an authentic spring day to enjoy the Azaleas at the National Arboretum. :) The flowers Emily are holding are for me. Thursday, April 25, 2013. I still maintain that it is a coincidence that. I accomplish my biggest cleaning projects when Rob is working from home and I don't have access to the computer. Friday, April 12, 2013. I'm not ruling out the possibility of be...

Erin on the move: March 2014
http://erinonthemove.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 8, 2014. When I was in college, winter was my favorite season. I loved midnight sledding in the moonlight, cozying up in fleece hoodies, and the fact that everything I was allergic to was pretty much dead. Except cats. For some reason, people take them inside. Truthfully, winter has become my least favorite season. It still has its joys, but let me tell you, I've never felt more relieved to see spring approach. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Erin on the move: Diverse Views
http://erinonthemove.blogspot.com/2015/07/diverse-views.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. On the evening of the Obergfell. It can be so easy to stereotype people you disagree with. You can label them ignorant, naive, bigoted, willfully stupid, apostate, evil, and wrong. And suddenly, it doesn't matter what is at stake for them in the decision – all that matters is that they are silenced or shamed because you are. It reminds me that any hot button issue is a hot button issue because it deals with people's core values. Happy about the BSA decision? Not on my feed). Subscr...

Erin on the move: Need
http://erinonthemove.blogspot.com/2014/06/need.html
Friday, June 6, 2014. I recently participated in an interfaith fast one of my friends organized on behalf of the kidnapped Nigerian girls. Over 3500 people participated, and I was given the name of one of the girls to specifically pray for. It was an important moment in my spiritual development. My friend that organized this fast is part of Ordain Women. And many people have told her to her face that if she doesn't like the current system, she should just leave the church. Erin on the move: September 2013
http://erinonthemove.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 23, 2013. Me, on pinterest. I'm not a huge pinterest user, but I thought it would be interesting to see what my boards say about me. Here's my analysis:. My biggest board is "fun with kids," and I've used lots of its ideas. My smallest board is "my hair sucks - try this." Um, I haven't tried any of its ideas. Yes, my hair still sucks. I have no exercise or interior design boards. Take that as you will. What do your boards say about you? Friday, September 20, 2013. Church has also been k...

http://erinonthemove.blogspot.com/2014/01/charlotte-florence.html
Thursday, January 16, 2014. Charlotte Florence made her arrival! The delivery couldn't have been smoother. My contractions didn't start until after I'd already woken up for the day, we made it to the hospital just in the nick of time for my epidural, and I only had to push through two contractions. Emily and Elliot love. Looking forward to meeting her and getting to know her! January 16, 2014 at 4:21 PM. January 16, 2014 at 7:37 PM. Love you and your family. January 16, 2014 at 10:16 PM.

Erin on the move: Family life, as family size increases
http://erinonthemove.blogspot.com/2014/02/family-life-as-family-size-increases.html
Friday, February 21, 2014. Family life, as family size increases. Child 1: I'm washing laundry every day because I don't know how to slow my crazy milk production and everything is perpetually covered in spit up. Child 2: Something is always soaking in Oxiclean. Child 3: I've been washing the same laundry load for three days because I keep forgetting to move it to the dryer. Child 1: I could never let me baby cry it out – that is so heartless! On the advice to bond with your child by watching them nurse:.
