Pati IS Surviving Life!: March 2011
http://patisurvivinglife.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Pati IS Surviving Life! Saturday, March 26, 2011. Since the first day of spring we have had a plummet in temperature and even a couple of snow dustings. What happened to spring? Yesterday, I had news of an old family friend’s passing. Tomorrow I will take Mom with me to the funeral home to pay our respects (I cannot make it to the funeral mass on Monday). Please pray for JMac’s family, that they may find peace in their grieving process. This worries me since this IS the permanent job. Years after his dea...

Pati IS Surviving Life!
http://patisurvivinglife.blogspot.com/2011/11/dear-everyone-it-has-been-long-time.html
Pati IS Surviving Life! Friday, November 4, 2011. It has been a long time since I have posted. It has been very difficult for me. The job that was supposed to go permanent was a victim of the budget cuts by both federal and state governments. The grant that supported about 75% of their income was cut by 45%. Since my last day with them (June 24. I broke 2 teeth on the way home that day. I have worked 5 days in temporary assignments. I have been sending out an average of 10-12 resumes/applications per day.

Pati IS Surviving Life!: April 2011
http://patisurvivinglife.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Pati IS Surviving Life! Monday, April 25, 2011. M has been on nearly every form of meds used to treat Bi-Polar disease until they either quit working or start to become toxic to his body. I worry that they will run out of choices of meds to use. Even with these worries I am breathing easier knowing he is getting the help he so desperately needs. I believe in the power of prayer so I welcome any that my readers may offer up. Friday, April 22, 2011. So today I will bend that promise. When you are always wa...

Pati IS Surviving Life!: M is Coming Home Today
http://patisurvivinglife.blogspot.com/2011/06/m-is-coming-home-today.html
Pati IS Surviving Life! Thursday, June 2, 2011. M is Coming Home Today. This time has been a long 5 weeks. M is finally coming home today. They think they got his meds in balance. I pray M takes them all as prescribed and doesn't add anything else. His cat will be so happy to see him. Well off to work. July 4, 2011 at 11:44 AM. Lucky M and how generous of you! I hope he does better this time around. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Columbus Coalition for the Homeless. Dress For Success - Columbus, Ohio.

Pati IS Surviving Life!: February 2011
http://patisurvivinglife.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Pati IS Surviving Life! Sunday, February 27, 2011. Yesterday I received an e-mail from a friend who gave me information about Angel Food Ministries. I have added the link to their site. This brought to mind that many of the homeless and near homeless have difficulty with getting quality food and/or help getting aid to get food. I have known people who have chosen to “dumpster dive” for food. There a number of reasons this is not the best idea! Occasionally you do not qualify for one reason or other.

Pati IS Surviving Life!: May 2011
http://patisurvivinglife.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Pati IS Surviving Life! Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Since Easter I have not posted as I promised myself when beginning this blog. I think my ideal was a bit lofty and yet the goal was there to blog about life… my life. M is still in the hospital being cared for and meds tweaked. We are not sure at this time when he will be able to come home. Some of the extracurricular things he smoked, drank… etc. may have done more damage to a fast recovery than dreamed of. It is part of the illness. I go after work to let ...
